Dr. Rauschkolb is originally from Arizona and began her education at Arizona State University, where she graduated summa cum laude with a degree in cell biology and physiology. After completing medical school at Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine, she traveled to the East Coast for further training. She completed an internship in Internal Medicine and a residency in Neurology at Dartmouth, a small Ivy League institution in the bucolic Upper Valley region of New Hampshire. This was followed by a transition to the bustle of New York City, where she completed additional training at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center with a subspecialty in Neuro-Oncology.

During her professional career, she served as Director of Neuro-Oncology at Intermountain Medical Center (UT) and at SIU School of Medicine (IL), and then returned to Dartmouth (NH) where she again served as Director of Neuro-Oncology and also headed up the brain tumor research program. In addition to treating patients with tumors of the central nervous system during her service in the academic realm, she spent a significant amount of time teaching medical students, interns, residents, fellows, and PhD students. She has authored and co-authored a number of journal articles and book chapters.

In 2018, she relocated to her home state of Arizona to be closer to family. Since her return, she has transitioned from neuro-oncology to general neurology. She has enjoyed the opportunity to treat patients with a variety of conditions and needs, and intends to the spend the remainder of her career serving in this capacity.
